About Me
I’m a freelance writer with a love for cross stitch
After quitting my job in P&G for 7 years to join my husband who got a project in Saudi, I wanted to keep myself busy with the things I love.
I’ve been running my online cross stitch shop The Art of Stitch since Oct 2006 and it’s been growing ever since. To add to this, I’ve added this blog and it’s moved from Blogspot to Wordpress recently. The Art of Stitch is not just a shop to get your crafts and needlework, it’s a place to celebrate the simple things in life, creating masterpieces with your own two hands and getting a therapeutic injection the healthy way.
I love interacting with my customers from all over the world, and my main objective is for everyone to be happy with what they see and get. Its a hobby, it’s fun!
That’s all there is to it.
As for writing, I go to the other extremes. I love horror movies and comedies. And that’s what I write. Most of the time, my stories are both horrifying and funny. Sarcasm is a great tool that when used in stories doesn’t really annoy people that much!
I’ve gotten a degree of success in my writing and for that I am grateful. There are so many talented writers out there and I’m just one in millions. It’s all about luck too sometimes. Below are a list of my publishing portfolio.
“The Witching Hour” published in print in Diabolic Tales I (Feb 2007)
“Think of Me” published in print for Carillon Mag, UK (May 2007)
“The Inner Self” published in print & E for Secret Attic (Aug 2007)
“Join the Bandwagon of Online Businesses” published in EzineArticles (Dec 2008)
“Backlash” published in print for Diabolic Tales II (Jan 2009)
