Painted in the last days of her life and inscribed with the words Viva La Vida, Kahlo's watermelons are a final act of pure, bold, life-loving defiance — vivid red flesh, deep green rind, and a joy so fierce and genuine that it fills every room it enters.

WHAT IS IN A PATTERN

Printable PDF chart (A4 or US Letter), a color cover page of the finished design, a DMC thread list with lengths needed, step-by-step stitching instructions, full color symbol chart and an instant download after checkout.

Works on phone, tablet, or computer — and fully compatible with Pattern Keeper for digital progress tracking.

HOW YOU RECEIVE IT

You get a download link on the order page and by email straight after checkout.

STANDARD VS LARGER

We give you two symbol size options so you can stitch the way you love.

Standard Symbols – A little bigger than the usual charts, these fit more of the pattern on each A4 page. Perfect if you like fewer pages and are comfy with regular-sized symbols.

Large Symbols – Around 30% bigger, making them super easy on the eyes. They do take up more pages, but many stitchers find them much more relaxing to follow.

Note: Bundled Sets may not include the option of Larger Symbols.

RETURNS

Unfortunately for digital downloads, we have a no-return policy. However if there is an issue with your chart, do let us know and we will replace the chart for you.

About the artist

Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo (1907–1954) painted herself into one of the most powerful and distinctive bodies of work in the history of art. The Mexican artist's self-portraits are bold, symbolic, and deeply personal — vivid colour, traditional Mexican imagery, and an unflinching emotional honesty that made her an icon long before the world fully caught up with her genius.

Choose a Kahlo cross stitch kit with everything included or download a Frida Kahlo cross stitch pattern instantly and stitch one of art history's most beloved icons.
