Want to cross stitch on a fabric that isn't Aida? This is how you do it. Waste canvas is a temporary grid that you layer over any fabric — a shirt, a tote bag, a pillowcase — stitch through both layers using the canvas as your guide, and then simply wet the canvas and pull the threads away, leaving your design perfectly placed on the fabric beneath.
Our 14-count water soluble version dissolves cleanly and completely, leaving no residue and no fuss. A genuinely brilliant technique once you try it.
