Edvard Munch Cross Stitch Kits & Patterns ⁽¹²⁾

Edvard Munch (1863–1944) painted anxiety before anxiety was a diagnosis — and the world has been relating to his work ever since. The Norwegian Expressionist grew up shadowed by illness, loss, and a family history that would give any therapist pause. The Scream — that agonised figure beneath a blood-red sky, hands pressed to cheeks, mouth open in a silent howl — was inspired by a real walk Munch took near Oslo in 1892, during which he experienced what sounds very much like a panic attack of spectacular proportions.
