our humble beginnings
The Art of Stitch began in 2006 with a small GeoCities HTML website (remember those?). We shared our favourite cross stitch brands with fellow enthusiasts and discovered an incredible community devoted to this wonderful hobby. Six years later, in 2012, we took a big leap: we began designing our own cross stitch patterns and opened our shop on Etsy, where original, handmade work is celebrated. Stitchers from all over the world found us there, and their orders, kind reviews and photos of finished pieces gave us the confidence to keep growing. Today we're proud to be an Etsy Star Seller, a badge Etsy gives shops with a consistent record of great customer service.
From Etsy to our own home
As more stitchers found us, we wanted a home of our own: a place where we could offer our full collection, kits with everything included, and fast FedEx shipping. That's how this shop was born. We still share our work on Etsy, but it's here in our own little corner that we truly thrive, and where we find the inspiration to keep designing more for you.
