Meet Sandro Botticelli, one of the coolest painters of the Italian Renaissance! He lived over 500 years ago, but his art is still turning heads today. Born in Florence in 1445, Botticelli (whose real name was Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi—try saying that five times fast!) had a flair for painting dreamy, magical scenes that were ahead of his time.
