Pyramid of Skulls by Paul Cézanne, created around 1901, is a haunting still-life that exemplifies the artist's unique approach to form and color. The composition features a striking arrangement of skulls, presented in a pyramid formation, which is both unsettling and thought-provoking.

What is the skill level of this kit?

We have had a few requests from some customers to label our designs with their skill level i.e. beginner, intermediate or advanced. Whilst this would helpful to some, we feel that organizing our designs this way will impede your ability to try something new. Our designs are done with your comfort in mind, the symbols are clear and easy, the color blocks help, there are less confetti or none at all and they are so easy to read and refer to. Except for a handful huge endeavors such as Nova Orbis Tabula most of our designs are perfect for beginners or advanced stitchers.

Can I stitch on any fabric count?

You definitely can! Although we only show the sizes for 14 and 18-count on our charts, in reality, a cross stitch design can be done on any count such as 9-count, 11-count, 28-count or more. The only difference would be the finished size and the amount of threads needed. If you need the fabric/thread calculation changed for a particular design, just let us know and we would be happy to make the changes for you according to the count you would like to stitch on.

Is this a printed chart or a PDF?

All of our charts (if not ordered as a Kit) are PDF download, deliverable via a link and an email. A printed chart is provided if you purchase a Kit.

When I get my PDF?

For all our Pattern orders, you can download the PDF immediately after checkout. A link for the download will be provided at the end of checkout after payment is made.

I don't like what I ordered. Can I return it?

Unfortunately for PDF downloads, we have a no return policy. But if there is something wrong with your chart, a mistake, let us know and we will replace the chart for you.

Good

The painting this pattern is based off of is very lovely and will certainly make a gorgeous finished product, but the pattern itself leaves something to be desired. There is no option for a full colour pattern, which is usually a standard part of patterns. The only pattern given uses mostly black symbols with a smattering of red, blue, and green, but nothing matches up with the DMC colours listed. This makes reading the pattern incredibly difficult, as you've got to differentiate between all the black symbols that look almost identical, and searching for them on the page takes a very careful eye. There are also no grid markings, and before starting this project I had to print it off and physically mark the 10x10 boxes that are almost always included with a pattern. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this pattern to new stitchers.
